Our partnership with Advance Construction Equipment extends your JCB support with two additional locations.

We’ve grown significantly since our first dealership opened in 1938, providing you with decades of experience, expanded parts inventories, increased service capabilities, and a stronger support network while maintaining the local relationships you’ve come to trust.

Bob Mark Sunderland Merges with Equipment Ontario Port Perry

The two locations merge in Port Perry, Ontario, relocating all staff between Lindsay
and Port Perry.

2025

Equipment Ontario Acquires Bob Mark Equipment Sales & Rentals and ESM

ESM and Bob Mark join the Equipment Ontario family, bringing the location count to 10: Alliston, Campbellford, Elmira, Lindsay (Golden Mile Road), Lindsay (Little Britain Road), Listowel, Mildmay, Napanee, Port Perry, and Wallenstein. Our partnership with Advance Construction Equipment amounts to 12 locations in total, including Harriston and Waterloo.

Identifying a gap in sales, parts, and service coverage, Equipment Ontario opens in Alliston, Ontario, a part of Simcoe County.

Advance Construction & Equipment Joins the family

Equipment Ontario takes a controlling interest in Advance Construction Equipment in Harriston and Waterloo, Ontario, thereby extending JCB's service area.

Equipment Ontario is founded

Stoltz Sales & Services & Hub International Equipment amalgamate, combining their three and two locations together. Equipment Ontario starts with Elmira, Listowel, Lindsay (Golden Mile Road), Mildmay, and Port Perry.

The founding owner group comprises Marlin Stoltz ,Greg & Michelle Snoddon and Carson Brown.

Napanee Opens

Bob Mark Equipment Sales & Rentals expands its territory to Napanee, selling New Holland Agriculture, New Holland Construction, Hyundai Construction, and more.

Edgar S. Martin Ltd. Changes its Name

It officially becomes ESM Farm Equipment.

Bob Mark New Holland Sales Sells

Andy Svetec partners with Ron MacLean and acquires 50% of Bob Mark New Holland Sales Limited. In 2008, Darryl Buttar partners with Andy Svetec and acquires Ron MacLean’s 50% ownership interest in Bob Mark New Holland Sales Limited.

Stoltz Sales & Service Opens in Mildmay

Experiencing rapid growth, Stoltz opens another location in Mildmay, Ontario, selling Case IH equipment.

The Case IH dealer acquires B&M Farm and expands to Elmira, Ontario.

1987

Hub International Acquires Brooklin Location

Hub International Equipment acquires the Robert C. Heron Ltd. dealership in Brooklin, Ontario, and sells Case IH equipment.

1984

Advance Construction Equipment Changes its Flagship Manufacturer

Sydney W. Brown becomes a shareholder and general manager of operations in 1971. The main lines included Allis-Chalmers, Japan Steel Works excavators, Martin Trailers, and Thomas Equipment. JCB joins the lineup in 1984 to later replace all other manufacturers.

Stoltz Sales & Service Buys Zimmerman Limited in Milverton.

Stoltz Sales and Service purchases N.A. Zimmerman Limited firm, one of International Harvester's oldest dealerships in Canada started in 1908 under the Deering farm equipment franchise.

Hub International Equipment Ltd. opens as an International Harvester dealer on Golden Mile Road in Lindsay, founded by Anita and Hugh Snoddon.

Stoltz Sales & Service opens as an International Harvester dealer in Listowel, founded by Wayne and Keith Stoltz.

Edgar S. Martin Ltd Opens in Wallenstein

Edgar S. Martin Ltd moves from its original location in Hawkesville, Ontario, to Wallenstein, Ontario.

1971

Bob Mark Little Britain Road Opens

The dealership moves from downtown Lindsay to the corner of Little Britain Road and Highway 7. At the same time, Bob’s son, John, merges his New Holland franchise with the Ford Tractor line.

John A. Ball founds the Allis-Chalmers Dealer in 1965.

1960

Ford Motor Company sells to Bob Mark

Bob Mark purchased the Ford Motor Company, which later split in 1967 to sell and service under Bob Mark Ford Tractor Sales Limited.
